补格里菲斯全集系列。

在暴君焚城记大获成功后格里菲斯拍摄的史诗电影。导演很会讲故事，没有出现掌控不了电影长度导致的节奏拖沓问题，镜头语言上之前短片中使用过的技巧诸如交叉剪辑纵向调度都有出现，镜头之间的切换和组接很娴熟，同时期的意大利史诗电影景别都不给你切一下的。人员布景上也下成本了场面也很大，但是不知道是不是缺少那种后景堆满各自有事情的人的那种全景长镜头，少了点那种宏大的历史在眼前徐徐展开的感觉。最后吐槽一下，布兰彻·斯薇特也不丑啊，电影里的朱迪斯看着傻乎乎的真不够好看，那个孔雀毛造型当时真觉得好看吗。
